He also played outfield in the MLB for the New York Yankees, the Atlanta Braves, the Cincinnati Reds and the San Francisco Giants, and participated in the 1992 World Series with the Braves.

He is the only person to hit a major league homerun and score a TD in the NFL in the same week, and the only person to play in both a World Series game and a Super Bowl.
